LED Light Therapy

Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive, non-ablative skin surface treatment system that uses light, delivered through light emitting diodes (LED), in precise wavelengths for improving superficial skin lesions, relieving pain, promoting skin rejuvenation and more.

The LED light can be used as a stand-alone technique or as an adjunctive therapy to a variety of treatments including laser skin rejuvenation treatments, microneedling, PRP, medical peels, pre- and post aesthetic surgery. Each wavelength targets a different indication. The LED light session will help enhance the result of your already existing/provided treatment.

The LED light is suitable for all ages, all skin types, all year round. After your LLLT therapy session, no recovery time is required. You should be able to continue with your daily activities.

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) is a technique used for treatment of precancerous skin lesions (actinic keratosis) and certain superficial skin cancers (basal cell carcinoma). The treatment consists of the application of a photosensitizing cream followed by exposure to a light source (red LED light) in classical PDT, or followed by exposure to daylight in the so-called ‘daylight PDT’. Daylight PDT has the advantage of being less painful and has a better tolerance then classical PDT.

Red light 633 nm

The red light is used for treating the outer layer of your skin. When the light is applied to your skin, the epidermis and superficial dermis absorb it, leading to the stimulation of collagen synthesis. In theory, more collagen means that your skin will look smoother and fuller, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Red LED light helps to improve circulation, which can give you a healthier glow. Used to treat: Skin rejuvenation, hair regrowth, non-melanoma skin cancer (PDT).

Yellow light 590 nm + Infrared light (IR)

The IR light is used for increasing wound healing, skin rejuvenation, rosacea and redness, skin hydration and overall health of your skin. It triggers the lymphatic system, improving the removal of toxins from the treated area. IR LED light is successfully used after micro needling treatments, aesthetic laser treatments, cosmetic injections (PRP for instance), to help speed up skin recovery and maximise the benefits/results from your treatment. As a stand-alone treatment, the IR light is the perfect skin ‘pick me up’ that will leave your skin looking healthier and radiant. It also works to reduce redness by increasing dermal blood flow. Used to treat: Wound healing, pain relief, arthritis, skin rejuvenation, hair regrowth.

LDM Ultrasound/Sonophoresis

Local Dynamic Micro-massage is a non-invasive technique for skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, improvement of the skin structure and many more skin needs. It acts directly on the cells and fibres of dermal tissue structures.

LDM is a rather painless technology which combines different ultrasonic frequencies up to 10 MHz. The corresponding frequencies are transmitted to the skin and act at different depths with different treatment benefits.

The treatment activates fibroblasts, increases tissue elasticity, as well as it tightens collagen fibers and enhances collagen cross-linking. Furthermore it improves pH changes in the skin. Each treatment partially reverses the aging process of the skin.

A change in skin appearance is typically seen after the first few sessions. Depending on the severity of your skin condition and your age, LDM could be recommended at a starting rate of twice per week for 4-6 weeks, before entering a maintenance phase of once every 2-3 months. As support for more invasive aesthetic-dermatological and/or plastic surgery procedures, LDM is recommended 1-2 times pre – and 2-3 times post interventions.

The LDM system combines the three keystones/three active principles of modern anti-aging treatments for skin rejuvenation; it simultaneously produces thermal, biochemical and mechanical effects.

LDM can be effectively combined with LED light therapy, radio-frequency treatments, laser treatments, microneedling treatment, medical peels, injections, and it can be used as pre- and post-operative treatments in aesthetic and plastic surgery. It can be easily combined with a variety of existing treatment methods.

LDM can be performed all year-round, with any skin type. Normally, there are no side effects.

Sonophoresis is a process that exponentially increases the absorption of topical compounds into the skin, what we call transdermal delivery. During a sonophoresis treatment, ultrasound waves stimulate micro-vibrations within the skin epidermis and increase the overall kinetics energy of molecules making up topical agents. In other words, it provides an intense transdermal delivery of active ingredients to effectively treat (aesthetic) skin conditions. Depending on the products used during treatment, e.g. Vitamine C, Hyaluronic acid, active ingredients are released deep down into the dermis to target signs of aging, dehydrated skin, sun damage, pigmentation, poor skin texture and acne.

Sonophoresis can be used as a standalone treatment as well as an additional skin care technique after LED light therapy, radio-frequency treatments, laser treatments, microneedling treatment, medical peels, etc. on the face, neck, décolleté area, hands, arms, back and chest. It’s suitable for all skin types (dark, sensitive, rosacea skin,…).
